Hepatitis is an infection that causes liver inflammation. There are five different kinds of hepatitis: A, B, C, D and E. There are many ways that you can become infected with hepatitis, from contaminated food to sexual contact (this depends on the type of hepatitis you contract). The Symptoms of Hepatitis

Within the first few weeks of being infected, you won’t even know that you have hepatitis. At this point it’s too early to see symptoms. Over time, you may start to notice symptoms such as jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), loss of appetite, nausea, fatigue, stomach pains, muscle or joint pain, and a mild fever. These are symptoms that should not be take lightly, as liver damage can occur if hepatitis is left untreated.
